In 2014, we launched MOUSE (Memorable, Outstanding, Unique, Service Experience), a unique customer service-driven initiative. Each month, MOUSE speaks to someone in our team about their life inside and outside of work.

This month we catch up with Laurie Islip, Key Account Manager from our electrical compliance team. Laurie has become a vital part of the operation in Sheffield over the last six-and-a-half years.

At work

I deal with new business development and account management for existing key accounts/group clients. This includes general queries, TraQ-it training (the industry’s only truly interactive web-based reporting system) and developing key account sites and groups.

Before this, I worked with the directors at Nectar for four-and-a-half years.

At home

I have been helping out with Animal Lifeline UK for the last 18 months or so, after helping to re-home a stray cat that wandered into our home. Animal Lifeline UK is funded entirely by charitable donations and is one of the few will never put an animal down.

I am one of the network of volunteers that drives up and down the country to get animals in need to safety.
