This month we catch up with Eleanor Whitfield, Electrical Services Renewals Administrator. Joining the PTSG family in 2014, Eleanor has become a vital part of the team and is known for her meticulous attention to detail. But it’s what she gets up to out of work that makes her really unique!
At work
I am administrator within the test and inspection renewals department, specifically dealing with lightning protection. I have been in the role for almost five years focusing on renewing contracts for the division’s clients and maintaining the lightning protection database spreadsheet.
As the ladies in the renewals team know, having spent so much time ensuring this spreadsheet is up to date and every small detail is correct, you would have to be a very special person for me to allow you to work on the spreadsheet in my absence!
At home
I spend much of my time away from work focusing on martial arts training, which I began aged 13. I am a 2nd Dan Black Belt, which combines elements of Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Taekwondo and I gained instructor certification in Krav Maga in Tennessee. Recently, this has enabled me to get into stunt double work and I have just completed shooting a new commercial in Morocco for Vanquis!
