Electrical Services engineers from Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) are currently at work at Loughborough University.

Stationed at the oldest part of the campus, the Group’s surge protection specialists are upgrading the existing system, installing surge units to all buildings and IT areas to protect the university’s more sensitive areas.

Loughborough University dates back as an institution to 1909, when the then Loughborough Technical Institute began with a focus on skills and knowledge which would be directly applicable in the wider world. It is currently ranked within the top 10 of all three national league tables and is internationally renowned for its sports-related courses and achievements.

PTSG has a proud record of protecting a large number of buildings at universities, colleges and schools throughout the UK. Its engineers design, install, test and maintain lightning protection and specialist earthing systems for a growing portfolio in the education sector. At the same time, specialists across the Group also deliver a range of other specialist services from access and safety systems to fire prevention systems and high-level cleaning and reparation services.
