Last week, members of PTSG’s Senior Leadership Team spent the day with our colleagues at IDSL in Mansfield, following the Group’s largest-ever acquisition in August.
And there was plenty to see.
The team visited IDSL’s three operations, from joinery and assembly through to finishing and dispatch, meeting the people behind a business that has built an outstanding reputation for fire safety, compliance and specialist manufacturing.
For PTSG CEO Greg Ward, who began his own career in manufacturing with Ford, the visit made a particular impression. “This is a truly impressive operation. Whilst the biggest part of IDSL’s work is compliance, the manufacturing capability is absolutely fantastic and a credit to the entire IDSL team.”
Greg was joined by senior colleagues from HR, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, Marketing and Communications and the MDs of PTSG Fire Solutions and NEO.
The conversations were positive, open and firmly focused on what comes next.
IDSL already has something special. Our job now is to help it go further.
