Our new Centre of Excellence opened in July 2026 at Alma House in Middleton, Manchester. It’s a purpose-built home for hands on, practical training across all five of PTSG’s specialist divisions, and one of the biggest investments we’ve ever made in our people.

This building belongs to every colleague, every customer and every apprentice. It’s where careers are built, standards are raised, and the next generation of PTSG’s people will learn their trade.
Dedicated practical handling and training pods covering Access and Safety, Working at Height, Electrical, Fire Solutions, Water Treatment, Confined Space, and First Aid and Incident Response, each built for live demonstration and real hands-on learning.

Over time, we want to open elements of the Centre to customers, supply chain partners and future talent, helping to raise safety standards and tackle skills shortages across the whole industry.

PTSG is one of the UK’s leading specialist building services groups – 3,500 people, 90,000 clients, 170 services delivered across five divisions. And right now, we’re looking for the next generation of engineers, technicians and future leaders to grow with us.
We’re recruiting up to 50 apprentices this year. 2028, we expect to have around 150 apprentices in structured training across the Group at any one time. This is the biggest investment in talent we have ever made.
