Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), via Trinity Fire & Security (Trinity), has been contracted to deliver specialist fire solutions for the Manchester logistics centre of Greggs.
British bakery chain Greggs was founded by John Gregg in 1939 and is now one of the most familiar outlets on our high streets. It specialises in ‘on-the-go’ savoury products such as baked goods, sausage rolls, sandwiches and sweet items including doughnuts and vanilla slices. It is headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index. Originally a high street chain, it has since entered the convenience and drive-through markets.
In this contract, engineers from Trinity will be installing a fire alarm and aspirating smoke detection (ASD) to help make the Manchester logistics centre as fire-safe as possible.
Trinity is part of PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd, which is the largest of the Group’s five business divisions. In addition to fire detection and alarm systems, PTSG’s specialists also provide fire suppression systems including sprinklers, dry and wet risers and fire extinguishers, passive fire services including fire door installation and testing and fire-rated glazing, plus security systems.
