Out of 1.33 million people who applied for a place in the TCS London Marathon 2027, only 50,000 were selected. Lucy Clarke, one of our employees was one of them.

Lucy, who works within PTSG’s Electrical Services division as Operations Manager (South) for Guardian Electrical Compliance, has secured a charity place in next year’s event, where she will run in support of MS-UK, a charity providing vital services for people living with Multiple Sclerosis and their families.

For Lucy, this is more than a sporting challenge. It is the realisation of a long-held ambition.

She explained: “Anyone who knows me will know how much this means. Running the London Marathon has always been a dream of mine. I apply for the ballot year after year, so I am beyond excited to have been offered a place.”

Over the coming 11 months, Lucy will train alongside her role at Guardian in preparation for the event, which takes place on Sunday 25 April 2027. She has committed to raising a minimum of £2,400 for MS-UK, whose work supports individuals and families navigating life with MS.

If you would like to support Lucy, you can donate via her JustGiving page at justgiving.com/page/lucy-clarke-1780045977048. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly towards that cause.

Another amazing example of PTSG People doing great things in our communities.
