Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to provide specialist fire solutions for Santander at a £150 million Milton Keynes campus development, which will serve as the bank’s new headquarters.

The financial services giant is moving its headquarters from its previous site in London to Unity Place in Milton Keynes, which is scheduled to open in 2023. A spokesperson for Santander UK said that Milton Keynes was selected due to its status as one of the UK’s leading technology centres, with a number of innovative education and training providers. This will enable the banking group to access to talent and opportunities for colleagues to innovate and develop their skills.

Engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will install sprinkler systems throughout the new headquarters to safeguard users in the event of a fire. The automatic fire sprinkler system is the most widely used and effective fire protection system today. Within commercial buildings, sprinklers are designed and installed to the British standard BS EN 12845:2015.
