Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) is delighted to be the only company working in the FM sector to win awards in two categories at this year’s PFM awards.

The niche specialist service provider, with nearly 700 people operating from 18 office locations nationwide, was the winner of the ‘Achievement in Facilities Technology’ award for its work in developing and implementing a proprietary software and business transformation system known as Clarity. This category recognised the growing importance of technology solutions that lead to greater business efficiency. The Group also received the top prize for ‘Partners in Corporate – Private Sector’, for the design and installation of a huge and innovative cradle system on behalf of Skanska which is located at the pinnacle of the new and iconic Scalpel building in central London. The awards were presented by BBC TV presenter, Dan Walker.

The awards ceremony, held at The Brewery in London on Wednesday 7th November 2018, was attended by leading sector professionals, there to recognise the achievements of individuals and organisations at what are regarded by many to be the FM industry’s leading awards. This year marked the 25th anniversary of the PFM Awards, and was attended by around 600 people from all over the UK and beyond.

Paul Teasdale, Chief Executive of PTSG, said: “We are really pleased to have won awards in these two categories. The judging process is incredibly challenging and I am delighted that my team and our partners have been recognised by leading and independent judges for our collaborative and innovative work together. Winning a PFM Partnership Award is the best possible way to demonstrate that we are working to the highest industry standards. I’d like to thank the teams involved in these categories for their hard work and commitment to excellence, and we look forward to many more successes together in future.”

PTSG’s team from Pendrich was also a finalist in the Partners in Cleaning category and Craig Finney, a director in PTSG’s Electrical Services business, was shortlisted as an Account Director of the year. Warm congratulations to both for reaching the final in what were very popular categories.

Over the course of this year, PTSG has been received a number of accolades and was recently named the winner in the Innovation in Professional Development category at the BIFM Awards 2018.
