Premier Technical Services Group Ltd, via constituent company Total Environmental Compliance (TEC), has been awarded a contract to provide specialist water testing services for Wyre Forest District Council.
Wyre Forest is a district in the north of the county of Worcestershire. The area takes its name from The Forest of Wyre, once a medieval hunting forest, and now a popular visitor attraction. The district has a population of over 100,000 and consists of large areas of rural countryside, many picturesque villages like Arley, Rock, Chaddesley Corbett and Wolverley and the three main towns of Kidderminster, Bewdley and Stourport-on-Severn.
In this new contract, engineers from PTSG Water Treatment Ltd will carry out testing for the control of Legionella over a three-year period, with the option to extend for a further year. PTSG’s service will include:
- Annual inspection of all cold-water storage tanks & provision of Inspection Certificate
- Quarterly inspection of all showerheads, cleaning and disinfection & provision of Certificate
- Monthly flushing of all infrequently used outlets
- Monthly Outlet temperature checks (Sentinel Outlets & Representative Outlets)
- Monthly Calorifier temperature checks
- Annual Calorifier inspections
