Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to provide specialist water treatment services for charity Change Grow Live (CGL).

CGL started back in 1977, when a group of magistrates in Sussex noticed a pattern. They saw people going to prison, being released with no home to go to, re-offending and being sent back to prison, over and over again. So, they decided to do something about it.

The charity exists for people who need help with challenges including drugs and alcohol, trouble with housing, domestic abuse and mental and physical wellbeing. Its services are free and confidential.

Engineers from PTSG Water Treatment Ltd will be delivering Legionella risk assessments and installation of remote temperature monitoring at 109 sites for CGL.

PTSG’s risk assessment follows the guidance set out in BSEN 8580:2010 which gives recommendations on the assessment of the risk of legionellosis presented by artificial water systems. The assessment will conclude on the condition of plant and advise you of any remediation necessary in order to reduce the risk from Legionella bacteria.
