Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has received another contract to supply specialist services for supermarket giant Lidl.

Only last week, PTSG announced that it will be designing, supplying and installing fall arrest systems at Lidl’s biggest ever distribution centre in the doorstep of Houghton Regis. In this latest contract, Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will install a brand-new lightning protection system at two of Lidl’s warehouses in Belvedere, south-east London and Luton, Bedfordshire.

The German discount grocer is developing a 430,556 square-foot unit in Belvedere, which will operate alongside its current 312,153sq ft distribution centre, almost doubling its capacity. In Luton, a new 1.2 million square-foot regional distribution centre is currently underway. At both sites, PTSG will provide lightning protection to protect the structures and all their users in the event of a lightning strike.

Lidl is one of a growing number of clients to benefit from multiple specialist services from PTSG. The Group offers services from five business divisions: Access & Safety, Electrical Services, Building Access Specialists, Fire Solutions and Water Treatment. Each operates independently but can also combine to meet the complete requirements of clients. This streamlines the whole process and invariably delivers cost savings.
