Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to provide specialist fire solutions at a new rental community in Reading.
Station Hill is a transformational development for Reading and the Thames Valley, a new centre of activity creating a connected lifestyle and business experience. It will provide 1,300 new homes, 95,000 square feet of lifestyle-led retail and leisure space and 625,000 square feet of office space.
The Station Hill redevelopment project is located in the heart of Reading town. The property is bound by Reading train station to the north, Garrard Street to the south, Thames Tower to the east, and Greyfriars Road to the west. The redevelopment will include two acres of new public space accommodating retail areas, restaurants and food halls, as well as community and leisure facilities.
Engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will be deliver the wet riser provision at the new development. A wet riser is a system of valves and pipe work that are kept permanently charged with water, generally utilising pumps and tanks.
