Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist electrical services at a former RAF base that is being turned into a new neighbourhood.

St Andrew’s Park is a new community providing up to 1,340 homes, as well as a school, theatre and offices, set in a parkland environment on the former 110-acre RAF Uxbridge base, which is rich in military history. The Grade II listed mansion, Hillingdon House which is being refurbished as part of the development, forms the focal point of the site. It was originally built in 1717 but was destroyed in a fire with the present mansion built in its place in 1844.

Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd are installing a new lightning protection system that will safeguard the built environment at St Andrew’s Park as well as all residents and users.

PTSG has a wealth of experience in providing lightning protection services. In fact JW Gray, one of the Group’s constituent companies, dates back to 1835 and is believed to be the oldest trading provider of lightning protection services in the UK, possibly even in Europe.
