Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been providing vital specialist services to enable retail outlets in shopping centres to reopen on 15th June.

The government’s relaxing of the lockdown guidelines has made it possible for retail outlets selling non-essential items to reopen once again, albeit with strict new rules regarding social distancing and a limit on the number of people within shops at a time.

PTSG’s engineers have performed a range of testing services to ensure the fall arrest equipment in place at buildings is fully compliant with the latest regulations. This includes anything from ManSafe systems to ladders, walkways and anchor devices.

PTSG Access & Safety Ltd. delivers a great many services for retail centres. In the run-up to Christmas, engineers are often contracted to test fixings – anchor devices that are installed into building structures – internal or external – to hold large Christmas displays. These fixings are subject to a pull test/load test in line with the required SWL and the weight of the load to be suspended/lifted.
