Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has won a contract to deliver specialist access and safety service at the University of Derby. 

The University of Derby provides over 300 study programmes at undergraduate level. Undergraduate programmes as well as short courses, foundation degrees and postgraduate degrees cover most academic disciplines and sub-disciplines. Currently the university is home to around 34,000 students in all areas of study. 

The university has a range of resources and facilities available to all students and staff, including: lecture theatres; Union of Students’ facilities; a bus service operating at and between the campuses; chaplaincy and facilities for faith, meditation and prayer; indoor and outdoor sports facilities; cafes and food outlets; wellbeing centres and support; careers and employability services and centres; and a university library service. 

Engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd will the carry out the testing of the height safety equipment at the University of Derby for the next year. PTSG has also since received orders to replace non-compliant equipment and install new equipment to ensure that the university is compliant going forward. 

PTSG has a large and growing education portfolio. Engineers from the Group’s five divisions carry out a wide range of specialist services at schools, universities and halls of residence throughout the UK, ensuring they are safe, clean and operationally efficient.
