Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is currently on site in Chiswick High Road where its engineers are delivering specialist Fire Solutions at a new-build residential scheme.
The new-build and refurbishment residential scheme is in the heart of the busy Chiswick retail district will benefit from PTSG’s specialist fire solutions. There will be 138 units across four blocks providing affordable housing and private, and includes four townhouses.
The new build element comprises two separate concrete frame multi-storey blocks spanning seven and five storeys respectively, with brickwork and a Portland wet-cast stone facade. In parallel, the existing ten storey tower will undertake extensive steel strengthening works to the frame ahead of vertical extension to twelve floors.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd are installing dry risers for contractor HG Construction. PTSG is one of the UK’s leaders in the installation and maintenance of dry risers. They are vertical mains fitted into staircase enclosures or other suitable positions. Outlet valves on each floor and inlets fitted at ground level to allow the fire brigade to connect to the water supply. The current standard for the installation of dry riser systems is BS9990 2015.
