Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured a contract to deliver specialist Access and Safety services at a council building in Sheffield city centre.

Howden House, located in 1 Union Street in Sheffield, is the first point of contact for people to access all council services. In particular it provides homeless prevention, advice and assistance on rehousing options in the city.

At this six-storey modern building, PTSG will undertake a six-monthly inspection of eyebolts, which allow building operatives to securely attach ropes and cables to gain access and work safely at height. This inspection is part of a three-year contract which began in 2022.

At the same site, engineers form PTSG Access & Safety Ltd will undertake the installation of one freestanding handrail and seven ManSafe systems.

The original business division of the Group, founded in 2007, PTSG Access & Safety Ltd was formed through the acquisition of some of the most experienced and accomplished service providers in the country. With offices throughout the UK, its engineers can be mobilised to attend all projects nationwide to deliver the full spectrum of access and safety services.
