Welcome to Inside PTSG.

I am delighted to inform you that Nikhil Vilray has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and an executive director of PTSG, taking up his new role on 17 April 2023. This is a position that I have occupied for the last 16 years. I will still be heavily involved in the business as I become Executive Chairman following John Foley’s retirement in November last year. I am pleased to report that John [Foley] and our current Managing Director, Roger Teasdale, have agreed to remain on the PTSG Board, for business continuity purposes, in Non-Executive capacities.

Nikhil is a senior and experienced CEO spanning manufacturing and services, listed companies and private equity firms. He has built a highly successful career in international business with more than 35 years leading organisations including: Honeywell International, WABCO, ServiceMaster Global and Coopers & Lybrand – with four years heading private equity firms, Nowus Capital and TPG Capital, supporting clients with large-scale investments.

In this month’s issue of Inside PTSG, our case study focuses on the work of our Water Treatment engineers in delivering remote temperature monitoring for charity Change Grow Live. It’s an innovation that offers valuable benefits including saving time, money, carbon consumption and improving compliance.

Insight takes a look at Legionella testing – a potentially life-saving service provided by our engineers. As well as delivering risk assessments, following the guidance set out in BSEN 8580:2010, we also provide Legionella training courses.

I wish you all the best and look forward to keeping you informed of further updates from throughout the Group.

Best wishes

Paul Teasdale
CEO
