Welcome to Inside PTSG.

2023 has begun strongly, despite continued economic uncertainty affecting all industries, including construction and FM. At PTSG, we are pleased to be working at full capacity across all five divisions, as our News section shows.

This month’s Project details the work of our Access & Safety division at a new International Advanced Manufacturing Park created by Envision AESC. Our engineers have been on site at the gigafactory since December, where they are supplying fall protection equipment.

All buildings are prone to deterioration, whether as a consequence of weathering, age or over-use. Insight looks at how our teams can respond to emergency call-outs from clients whose buildings have suffered damage and pose an immediate danger to life. One of the benefits of our UK network of 46 office locations is our ability to mobilise teams to site immediately, whatever the location.

This issue also takes a brief look at the King Cross estate, currently one of the largest regeneration projects in the UK. One of our rope access teams from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd has been on site to undertake a full survey of eight of the buildings.

I wish you all the best and look forward to keeping you informed of further updates from throughout the Group.

Best wishes

Paul Teasdale
