Building compliance specialist, Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG), has opened the second round of Elevate, its employee suggestion scheme, after two brilliant ideas from the inaugural round are already being implemented across the business.
Launched to give PTSG’s 3,200-strong workforce a formal route to contribute to business improvement, Elevate invites employees at every level to submit ideas spanning safety, efficiency, customer service, sustainability and employee wellbeing.
In Round 1, two submissions stood out. A Customer Welcome Pack proposed by Sarah Wilcock is now being rolled out across the group’s NSS team, bringing greater consistency and professionalism to the customer onboarding experience. While an in-person Recruitment Open Day conceived by Carra Gale was delivered by the Trinity business at a critical period of growth, directly supporting the division’s hiring needs.
Greg Ward, Chief Executive Officer, said: “Elevate exists because the best ideas in this business come from the people doing the work every day. Sarah and Carra have already proved that, and their ideas are now making a real difference. I’m looking forward to seeing what else our teams come up with.”
Round 2 opened for submissions this week. Ideas are assessed against criteria including impact, practicality and ease of implementation, with the strongest proposals progressing to a Dragon’s Den-style panel in front of senior leaders.
Financial rewards include £500 for the best idea and £250 for the runner-up, with employees whose ideas deliver measurable cost savings eligible to receive a share of first-year savings up to £5,000.
The scheme runs on a quarterly cycle, giving all employees across PTSG’s five divisions the opportunity to contribute throughout the year.
