In 2014, we launched MOUSE (Memorable, Outstanding, Unique, Service, Experience), an initiative established to help deliver the best service possible. Each month, MOUSE speaks to someone in our team about their life inside and outside of work.

This month, we speak to Sofia Abbas, one of our Key Account Managers, to learn more about her role and life outside of work.

At work
As a Key Account Manager, I help to manage the relationships between the business and its clients. This means I speak to a range of people from different companies and backgrounds every day, and try to resolve any queries we may get from clients and our own staff. I’m responsible for making sure relevant paperwork and reports are completed on time, and work closely with the operations teams to make sure they are able to complete their work to the best standard possible.

I really enjoy the variety of my role; I speak to so many different people and handle multiple assignments, so I’m always kept busy. It can be challenging at times, but I think I thrive under pressure, and need challenges in my work to keep me motivated.

At home
I’m a bit of a fitness fanatic – I love running and I go to the gym as often as I can. I also like to travel. I’ve been to some interesting places in the last few years – Switzerland and Dubai were highlights, and I’m lucky enough to be going to Berlin, Barcelona and Ibiza this year!
