PTSG has been shortlisted for three ATLAS Awards, with two heritage projects and two colleagues recognised in the association’s 80th anniversary year.
The nominations reflect the breadth of expertise across PTSG’s Electrical Services Division, from protecting historic buildings to developing the next generation of lightning protection engineers.
Our Town Hall, Manchester Town Hall is shortlisted for Best conservation and heritage project by a steeplejack member, while a lightning protection project at Woolley Hall, Wakefield is shortlisted for Best conservation and heritage project by a lightning protection member.
Both projects called for specialist work on historic buildings, where protecting the structure means working with care and respect for its original fabric.
Anthony Colley and Craig Channon are shortlisted for Outstanding individual contribution to training and development, recognising the time and expertise they have given to developing others in the industry.
The shortlisting is a proud moment for PTSG in ATLAS’s 80th anniversary year. Manchester Town Hall and Woolley Hall show the skill and care involved in heritage projects, while Anthony and Craig’s recognition reflects their commitment to helping others build careers in the industry.
The ATLAS Awards celebrate excellence in the steeplejack and lightning protection industries. Winners will be announced at a dinner in Stratford-upon-Avon on Friday 23 October 2026.
