Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) continues to invest in the development of its people through practical learning experiences that enhance technical understanding across the business.
Colleagues from the Operations and Repair Sales teams within PTSG Electrical Services recently welcomed specialist access provider Skylift to the Group’s Stoke office for hands-on training focused on Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs).
The session was designed to provide those responsible for planning and coordinating work with a greater appreciation of how specialist access equipment operates in practice, enabling even closer collaboration with engineering teams and helping to deliver safer and more efficient project planning.
Using a 57-metre operated truck-mounted MEWP, supported by a dedicated safety vehicle and fully controlled working area, team members experienced the equipment first-hand while learning more about its capabilities, safety features and operational requirements.
The training forms part of PTSG’s wider commitment to continuous professional development and reflects the principles that underpin the Group’s recently launched Centre of Excellence, where practical skills, innovation and knowledge sharing are helping to develop the next generation of technical expertise across the business.
