Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed a specialist fire solutions project at Heathrow Airport in London.
London Heathrow is the largest of the six international airports serving London, the other five being Gatwick, City, Luton, Stansted and Southend.
Heathrow Airport has 4 terminals with total of 115 gates. Last month, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd completed a successful handover of a new fire mic system at Terminal 4 for main contractor Balfour Beatty. The client recognised PTSG’s great efforts in overcoming a number of challenges including labour resourcing, praising the Group’s engineers for sticking to the mitigation programme and delivering a highly technical handover on time and to budget. Their forward-thinking health and safety culture also received high praise.
PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd has been delivering safety systems at Heathrow Airport since 2011. “Team Heathrow” ensures PTSG’s engineers are a seamless extension of the Heathrow team, with collaboration the key to success. It’s an approach that earned the team a trophy in the fire safety category of the Team Heathrow Health and Safety Awards in 2019.
