Hello and a warm welcome to March’s edition of Inside PTSG, bringing you up to date with the latest news and updates from around the business.

It’s always nice for the Group to be recognised for the quality of its work and in February’s edition of PFM magazine, a double-page spread was devoted to PTSG’s approach to compliance. The article describes how compliance ensures organisations not only meet legal requirements regarding specialist services, it also has the benefit of making buildings operate more efficiently and cost-effectively as well as safeguarding reputations.

During February, we strengthened our leadership team with two new appointments. Gerard Finlay joined PTSG Electrical Services Ltd. as Operations Director and Colin Henry joined our high-level cleaning business in London in a Business Development role. Both are highly experienced professionals and their skills will be a great addition to the Group. Please join me in saying welcome!

We continue to win a great many new contracts, which are especially noticeable across Electrical Services and Fire Solutions, where we have made two major acquisitions in the last four months. Please see our monthly round-up for more details.

Guardian Electrical Compliance Ltd. came into the Group in October 2018, strengthening our position as the UK’s leader in this area of specialist services. The Project section of this month’s Inside PTSG features Guardian’s work with Oxford Brookes University.

I hope you enjoy this month’s Inside PTSG and, as ever, if you would like to see anything included in future editions, please let us know.

Best wishes

Paul Teasdale,
