Hello and welcome to the latest edition of Inside PTSG, the place to read about all the latest news from across PTSG’s four dedicated divisions.
April was a busy month for the Group as we continued to strengthen our presence across our key market sectors, working on a host of high-profile projects across the country. This continued growth saw our position on the UK stock exchange featured in two national articles in the UK press last month, with The Daily Telegraph’s Richard Evans and Sharewatch’s Smit Berry both offering interesting insights into our market position. Last month also saw the London Assembly’s Planning Committee publish a report calling for mandatory sprinkler installations in all new-build residential developments above 18 metres in height. As a business we fully support these recommendations and believe all residential and public-use buildings should have dependable fire safety systems available. I believe our trusted fire solutions offering can and will play a leading role in maintaining safety in the industry for years to come. We remain on standby with teams around the country to deploy as necessary and will embrace any future changes in regulation.
Look out for other news on the PTSG website including plenty of exciting contract wins and our pledge to support the Mitie Charity Ball for the fifth consecutive year. The ball is a fantastic fundraising event which raises money towards some great causes and as an FM partner to Mitie we are always happy to support it in any way possible.
