Welcome to Inside PTSG.

The government has delivered a mini-budget since the last issue of Inside PTSG and our new prime minister, Liz Truss, has announced a number of proposals to boost economic growth. Private enterprises throughout the UK will be taking a keen interest in what effect these measures will have in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, all five of our business divisions have been hard at work throughout the UK. In the News features a glimpse of our projects that are ongoing, while Insight goes into a little more detail on a project our Fire Solutions division is working on.

The 55-acre site in Harrow that was formerly occupied by the iconic Kodak Factory is being transformed into a new £1.75bn community – a leisure, business and residential destination. The specialist work of our engineers will help to make the new community safe through the installation of commercial sprinklers.

One of the privileges we enjoy in our work at PTSG is the opportunity to be involved with some of the most extraordinary buildings in the land. Some are historic, others cutting-edge or provide vital services to the communities in which they are located. This month, we feature the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford, where are engineers have completed lightning protection work to keep the facility and all users safe.

I wish you all the best and look forward to keeping you informed of further updates from the business.

Best wishes

Paul Teasdale
