Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has appointed David Newcombe as Director of Lean Transformation, strengthening the Group’s continued focus on operational excellence, efficiency and sustainable growth.
David brings more than 30 years’ experience in operational excellence and business transformation across the aviation, automotive and biologics sectors. A certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, he has an extensive track record of leading complex transformation and continuous improvement programmes.
Most recently, David was Head of Operational Excellence, Strategic Projects and PMO at Lonza Biologics, where he led strategic improvement initiatives and the implementation of its business management system.
His previous experience includes a number of senior roles at Heathrow Airport, including Head of Continuous Improvement, where he developed and implemented improvement strategies across a highly complex operational environment. He also established Heathrow’s first continuous improvement network, bringing together more than 100 professionals from across the airport community.
Reporting to Alison Chard, Chief Performance Officer, David will work across PTSG to simplify processes, improve productivity, standardise best practice and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
