From Scotland to Devon and across to the Netherlands, colleagues at Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) are coming together on Friday 23 October to support Wear It Pink, raising vital funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Now.
Around 20 PTSG offices are taking part, turning pink for a cause that affects thousands of families every year. The initiative is fast becoming an annual tradition for the Group, which raised £1,700 in 2025 and hopes to surpass that total this year.
The importance of the campaign is clear. According to Cancer Research UK, approximately 59,400 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK annually, around 160 every day. In the Netherlands, approximately 15,200 women were diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in 2025, according to the Dutch National Cancer Registry.
Behind every statistic is a person, a family and a life changed.
Greg Ward, Group Chief Executive Officer of PTSG, said: “Looking after people is fundamental to everything we do at PTSG. That responsibility extends beyond our customers to our colleagues and their families. Breast cancer affects so many lives, and initiatives like Wear It Pink help fund vital research, encourage important conversations and remind people that support is available. I’m immensely proud of the enthusiasm shown by our teams across the UK and the Netherlands. It’s a wonderful reflection of the people who make PTSG what it is.”

A cause close to home
For Tracy Gregory, who leads PTSG’s Fire Risk Assessments business, the campaign has particular significance. Tracy, who is in remission from breast cancer, was recently named Highly Commended and runner-up in the Woman of the Year category at the Women in Fire Safety Awards. She said: “Having experienced breast cancer myself, I understand the physical and emotional challenges it brings, not just for the individual but for everyone around them. I’m incredibly proud to work for a business that supports initiatives like Wear It Pink so enthusiastically. PTSG has been extremely supportive throughout my own experience, and that understanding has made a genuine difference to my recovery. Employers have an important role in recognising what people are going through and ensuring they know where to find help. Sometimes the smallest gestures make the biggest difference.”
Wear It Pink is about much more than fundraising. It’s about awareness, compassion and ensuring that nobody feels they have to face breast cancer alone. With colleagues across two countries getting involved, PTSG hopes to build on last year’s fundraising success and make 2026 its biggest Wear It Pink campaign yet.
You can support PTSG’s fundraising efforts by donating through our JustGiving page. Every contribution will help Breast Cancer Now fund research and provide essential support to people affected by breast cancer.

Where to find support
Anyone concerned about breast cancer can find trusted information and support through the NHS, Breast Cancer Now (free helpline: 0808 800 6000), Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support. In the Netherlands, support is available through KWF Dutch Cancer Society and Borstkankervereniging Nederland. Anyone noticing unusual changes in their breasts or chest should contact their GP or healthcare professional.
