Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has acquired IDSL Group Holdings Ltd, significantly expanding its passive fire compliance capability and establishing the Group as the UK’s largest passive fire business.
IDSL incorporates Integrated Doorsets, Fire Door Inspection Solutions, Hartland Fire and Fire Doors Rite. The Group brings specialist expertise in fire door inspection, testing, certification, evidence-based remediation, ongoing maintenance and lifecycle compliance, alongside complementary manufacturing capability.
The acquisition strengthens PTSG’s position in one of the UK building safety market’s fastest-growing and most strategically important areas. Demand for passive fire services continues to increase as organisations respond to the Building Safety Act, the Fire Safety (England) Regulations and greater scrutiny around accountability, traceability and asset management.
Together, PTSG and IDSL will provide an integrated passive fire solution covering technical surveys, inspection, testing, remediation, certification, maintenance and specialist manufacturing where required.
Combining technical compliance expertise with in-house manufacturing will also enable PTSG to offer greater delivery certainty, stronger supply-chain resilience and faster mobilisation on complex fire safety programmes, while maintaining control over quality and certification.
