Two members of the Guardian Electrical Compliance team have completed the Sheffield Half Marathon, raising £348 for Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.
Pete Beever and Sarah Nixon both crossed the finish line having hit their personal time targets – Pete completing the course in 1:57:41, just under his two-hour goal, and Sarah finishing in 2:29:14, just inside her 2:30 target.
The pair took on the challenge in support of Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity – a cause close to the hearts of many at Guardian Electrical Compliance, who have long supported the work of their local hospital.
Their combined fundraising total of £348 is a testament to the backing they received from colleagues, friends and family.
Stories like this are a reminder of what PTSG people are like away from the day job. Showing up, putting the effort in, and doing something that matters.
Well done to you both.
