Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist electrical services for FES Group at Edinburgh Airport.
Edinburgh Airport is an international airport in the Ingliston area of Edinburgh. It is the busiest airport in Scotland based on passenger numbers, with 15 million passengers flying from the airport in 2024, a 36% increase on passenger numbers from 2022. A total of 35 airlines use the airport to fly to over 152 international destinations.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG’s Lightning Protection Installations Division will be delivering site-wide earthing and lightning protection to ensure a high degree of safety at Edinburgh Airport.
PTSG is the UK’s leading provider of lightning protection services. This includes the design, installation, testing and inspection and maintenance of lightning and surge protection systems and power earthing works.
As one of the Group’s five independent divisions, PTSG Electrical Services Ltd also delivers an enormous amount of portal appliance testing (PAT) – around 4.5 million PAT services in 2024 – as well as fixed wire testing and electrical vehicle supply equipment.
