Trinity Fire & Security (Trinity), part of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), has completed a specialist project at Grange University Hospital in Cwmbran, South Wales.
The site of the hospital was previously occupied by Llanfrechfa Grange, a country house which was built for Charles Prothero in the middle of the 19th century. Work to create and construct Grange University Hospital, a new specialist critical care centre, started on the site in 2017.
A specialist team from Trinity has completed and handed over the installation and commissioning of a Gent fire alarm system and Baldwin Boxall disabled refuge system at the new Emergency Department at the Grange University Hospital.
A key feature of this project was the integration of the Winmag graphics package, which provides full visibility and control of the motorised dampers across the site. This allows the estates team to monitor damper states from a single location, significantly improving fault reporting, system testing, and day-to-day operational efficiency.
Trinity is part of PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd, the largest of the Group’s five business divisions, and specialises in delivering fire detection, fire suppression, life safety systems and security systems.
