Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist fire solutions at a new mixed use Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme transforming part of Bromley town centre.
Known as St Mark’s Square, it is designed to kick start the regeneration of the south end of Bromley.
At the heart of the new residential and leisure quarter sits a 53,000-square-feet landscaped public square surrounded by a 29,000-square-feet multiplex cinema, 28,000-square-feet of cafes and restaurants, a business hotel, private and affordable apartments, and a new secure space underground car park.
The residential element of the scheme is being built to Code for Sustainable Homes (CfSH) Level 4. Energy costs to residents will be reduced by 30% through better insulation, good ventilation and the provision of an onsite combined heat and power system. The remaining building elements deliver an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will deliver specialist fire services including cutting out and replacing pipework at five different points within each flat across the entire block.
