Passive fire specialists from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will visit a retirement housing complex in Surrey, which was built in 1988. Replacing fire doors in a care home brings a number of challenges. Works must be carefully planned to minimise disruption to residents, many of whom may be elderly, vulnerable, or have dementia, meaning noise and unfamiliar activity can cause distress.
