Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist electrical services at Fresh Wharf on the north bank of the Thames, close to London’s Square Mile.
Fresh Wharf offers 120,000 square feet of meticulously engineered workspace, arranged over ten floors. It is designed and developed to provide best-in-class, sustainable workplace with high-quality amenity and travel hub facilities. The quality and greening of the surrounding public realm will be improved by creating an engaging and characterful space suitable for its prominent riverside location. Previously known as St Magnus House, the building was originally by Richard Seifert. The new offices will be available in 2026.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will install a brand-new lightning protection system that will protect the facility and all its users in the event of an electrical storm.
Lightning is always looking for the shortest path to earth. The key is to ensure that it doesn’t make its path through your property. Lightning protection systems intercept, conduct and disperse lightning strikes safely to earth. They should be designed, installed and tested in accordance with BS EN 62305.
