NSS Group (NSS), part of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), has completed a specialist roofing project at the Gateshead branch of Costco.
Costco Wholesale Corporation is an American multinational corporation which operates a chain of membership-only big-box warehouse club retail stores. As of 2021, Costco is the third-largest retailer in the world, and as of August 2024, Costco is the world’s largest retailer of beef, poultry, organic produce, and wine, with just under a third of American consumers regularly shopping at Costco warehouses.
Situated near the Metro Centre, Costco Gateshead is a members-only warehouse selling a variety of items including bulk groceries, electronics and more. This complex roofing project presented considerable access challenges. However, the work of the NSS team has future-proofed the large roof, treating it for weathering and preventing corrosion for many years to come.
