Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist fire services at the former Horlicks Factory in Slough.
Horlicks Quarter is a stylish collection of apartments, penthouses and houses in the Royal County of Berkshire, just 4 miles from historic Windsor and 22 miles from London. The historic landmark also boasts an on-site nursery, café and co-working hub space. Residents also benefit from a concierge, gym, residents’ lounge, cinema room and rooftop terrace.
The Horlicks Factory was designed by the Horlick’s company’s engineer A G Christiansen with the initial southern area being built in 1908 at a cost of £28,000 – which would now be over £3.5million. The external design was based on the company’s factory in Rascine, USA.
PTSG was first commissioned to provide specialist services at this site five years ago. The Group’s Fire Solutions engineers will soon commence work on the mechanical installation of the commercial sprinklers, residential sprinklers and dry risers in Block J.
PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd is the largest of the Group’s five independent divisions. The others are PTSG Access & Safety Ltd, PTSG Electrical Services Ltd, PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd and PTSG Water Treatment Ltd. In combination, they can meet the entire specialist services requirements of customers in all sectors.
