Mental Health Awareness Week, taking place from 12-18 May, aims to bring people together to focus on achieving good mental health. With a record of providing mental health support for colleagues going back a number of years, Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is a firm supporter of Mental Health Awareness Week.

PTSG now has 49 qualified Mental Health First Aiders throughout the Group to provide confidential advice and support for a wide range of issues. With further training scheduled for June this year, that figure is set to rise to over 60.

On PTSG’s secure employee portal, the Group’s HSE leaders also provide colleagues with a wealth of free resources to help understand and tackle a wide range of issues that can affect mental health.

Recently, PTSG launched its Menopause Champions initiative, which works alongside its Mental Health Champions programme.

Supporting colleagues through all life stages isn’t just nice to have – it’s essential to the people-first approach at PTSG. The Menopause Champions initiative shows the Group is serious about creating a workplace where everyone can bring their whole selves to work and thrive.

No Falls Week also takes place at the same time this year (12-16 May). PTSG approaches mental and physical health as one and is fully behind both initiatives.
