Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist electrical services at Belhaven Court in Borehamwood.
Belhaven Court is a retirement housing development for people over the age of 55. The collection of flats, bungalows and houses was built in 1972 and renovated in 2000.
In 2020, an internal reconfiguration of the flats was published to reduce the number of flats from 44 to 37. External elevation works include external cladding and alterations to fenestration. Removal of existing conservatory, new refuse store and associated landscaping were also in the plan.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd were contracted to install a new lightning protection system at Belhaven Court. Such systems safeguard the building and all users in a lightning storm. As well as designing and installing new systems, the Group’s engineers also provide periodic testing and inspection, which is required by law, and carry out repairs, maintenance and upgrades.
