The task involved replacing asbestos tiles, restoring the glazing and reviving the timber vertical décor, while carefully balancing modern safety standards with the preservation of the building’s historical character.
The project was completed successfully, with the asbestos tiles replaced, the glazing panels restored and the timber vertical décor fully revived. The building’s historic character was preserved and its structural integrity improved.
