Trinity, part of PTSG’s Fire Solutions division, has successfully delivered a comprehensive fire door inspection programme at a prestigious mixed-use block in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, reinforcing safety and compliance across both residential and commercial areas.
The property comprises six floors of residential apartments above ground-floor shops and cafés, creating a complex, high-profile environment. Inspections required careful coordination with residents, managing agents, and commercial tenants to minimise disruption while ensuring full coverage. City-centre logistics – including restricted access and limited parking – added further planning requirements for safe movement of personnel and equipment.
Trinity’s team inspected a wide range of doors, including communal entrances, flat doors, and service/plant room doors, each with specific compliance requirements. Accredited surveyors (BM Trada / LPCB) applied specialist knowledge to identify defects and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations for remedial actions. Digital reporting ensured that leaseholders and managing agents received professional, auditable documentation aligned with regulatory standards.
Throughout the programme, the team demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and effective resident engagement, maintaining confidence and trust across the property. The project highlights Trinity’s expertise in delivering high-quality, compliant fire safety inspections in complex, mixed-use city-centre environments, combining technical skill with careful planning and tenant-focused delivery.
