Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist Access & Safety works at Royal Dornoch Golf Club.

Following an extensive national design competition, Keppie was awarded the commission to create a prestigious new clubhouse for the world-renowned Royal Dornoch Golf Club in 2018. While the club has yet to host any major professional tournaments due to challenges related to its location and associated infrastructure, the Championship Course consistently earns acclaim as one of the finest in the world, proudly holding a remarkable 2nd place on Golf Digest’s prestigious World Top 100 list.

In this contract, engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd, one of the Group’s five independent business divisions, will install Mansafe systems on of the roof of the golf club. Such systems protect workers from falling while carrying out maintenance, inspection or cleaning tasks at height.

They often include anchor points, a lifeline (wire or rail system) and a traveller device that attaches to the user’s safety harness. Mansafe systems help organisations meet the UK Work at Height Regulations 2005, which legally require fall protection measures.
