Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), the UK’s leading provider of specialist compliance services to the facilities management industry, construction sector and end-user marketplace, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Testing Services (UK) Ltd, a nationwide expert in electrical inspection, testing and compliance.
Testing Services has built a strong reputation over more than two decades for delivering high-quality electrical inspection and testing services to customers across the UK. The business provides a comprehensive range of compliance-led services, including Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), emergency lighting inspections, fire alarm and extinguisher works and associated remedial services, supporting organisations to ensure the safety and reliability of their electrical systems.
The company serves a broad and diverse customer base and benefits from a highly recurring revenue profile, with inspection and maintenance activity underpinning long-term client relationships. Electrical testing and associated remedial works account for the majority of the company’s activity, reflecting the growing regulatory focus on electrical safety and compliance across the UK built environment.
The acquisition further strengthens PTSG’s Electrical Services division, enhancing the Group’s capability in electrical inspection and testing and reinforcing its position as one of the UK’s most comprehensive providers of electrical compliance services. PTSG is now firmly established as one of the UK’s three leading electrical services contractors, reflecting both the scale of its operations and the depth of its technical capability.
Testing Services will complement PTSG’s existing electrical services platform, working alongside established businesses within the Group to expand technical capability and support continued growth across multiple client sectors.

Testing Services operates nationwide from its base in West Yorkshire and employs a highly skilled team of engineers and technical specialists delivering inspection and testing services across a wide range of commercial and industrial environments.
Following completion of the acquisition, founder and Managing Director Jon Roberts will remain with the business and continue to lead its development as part of PTSG.
