On Saturday 10 May, a team from JW Gray, a constituent company of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), gave up their own time to help out in a community garden where they have been carrying out a lightning protection project.

Danial Herron (Director of JW Gray) and Lightning Protection Estimators Andrew Webb and Nick Parsons got together to build a bug hotel within the biodiversity area of Lampton Park Community Garden.

The Council of the London Borough of Hounslow and the Lampton Services Countryside team run a range of volunteering sessions as well as collaborate with volunteers from the borough to manage habitats across Hounslow.

These activities include but are not limited to litter picking, tree planting, bramble bashing, habitat surveying and more. The Lampton Park Community Garden development project was created in Spring 2024.

The aim is to create a welcoming space that teaches skills you may not have known about gardening, meet likeminded individuals, and create a sense of ownership in a much-loved park.

Well done to the team from JW Gray for lending their time, skills and energy to such a meaningful cause. This perfectly illustrates how PTSG seeks opportunities to operate in ways that enhance society and the environment.
