Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), via constituent company System Hygienics, has been contracted to deliver specialist fire solutions for Norfolk County Council.
Norfolk County Council provides essential services to a population of over 900,000 residents, including education, social care, infrastructure, and public safety. The council manages a wide and diverse property portfolio, ranging from offices and community facilities to schools and care settings, where maintaining robust fire safety is critical to protecting both staff and the public.
Under the contract, System Hygienics will apply accredited inspection and maintenance standards to ensure all fire doors are compliant with current legislation and best practice. Engineers will also carry out specialist vent cleaning, reducing the risk of smoke spread in the event of a fire and supporting the council’s wider health and safety obligations.
The work will be delivered with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations, with careful scheduling and planning across the council’s estate. Digital reporting and evidence-based records will provide transparency and assurance, enabling the council to monitor compliance effectively.
