Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been awarded a contract at Tynecastle Park, home of Heart of Midlothian FC, to deliver specialist at-height services.

Hearts, the oldest club in Scotland’s capital, competes in the Scottish Premiership. Formed in 1874, its name was influenced by Walter Scott’s novel The Heart of Midlothian. Hearts have played home matches at Tynecastle Park since 1886. After the ground was converted into an all-seater stadium in 1990, it now has a capacity of 19,852 following the completion of a rebuilt main stand in 2017. They have training facilities at the Oriam, Scotland’s national performance centre for sport, where they also run their youth academy.

In this contract height specialists from Pendrich, part of PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd, will prepare and paint four floodlight support towers. Pendrich’s specialist drone team has already carried out a detailed pre-start survey and will continue to capture progress and completion footage throughout the project. The work will be delivered by the company’s highly skilled IRATA International-certified team, ensuring a safe, efficient service with minimal disruption.
