Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is currently involved in a project to deliver specialist roofing services, as well as related testing services, to a large automotive manufacturer.
The customer is manufacturer of luxury cars, founded in the early part of the twentieth century. The first world war brought the company into manufacturing aero engines. After the second world war, car production moved to Crewe where the company began to assemble complete cars with body pressings made by the Pressed Steel Company. (Previously they had built only the chassis, leaving the bodies to specialist coach-builders.) Today, the company is iconic in the field of automotive design.
In this contract, technicians from NSS (part of PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd) are delivering a specialist roof refurbishment at the customer’s site in Pendle, Lancashire. Full roof refurbishment provides clients with a clean, durable and professional finish that extends the life of the structure for years to come. The scope of the service included:
