Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), via its constituent company Neo, has successfully completed a programme of composite fire door installations for a major affordable housing provider in the north-west of England. The work formed part of a multi-phase rollout across residential properties spanning Merseyside, Greater Manchester, and Lancashire.

Phase 5 presented unique challenges, including delivering works across live housing stock, maintaining resident safety and safeguarding, and coordinating installations across dispersed locations. Each door had to be installed in line with manufacturer instructions, third-party certification standards (FIRAS/BM Trada), and relevant building regulations, with zero tolerance for error.

Neo’s FIRAS-accredited installation teams combined technical expertise with strong programme management to ensure Phase 5 aligned seamlessly with previous phases. Sensitive resident engagement was key, with teams managing appointments, communicating clearly, and working respectfully in occupied homes, including those housing vulnerable tenants.

Logistical planning and collaboration with the client’s project team enabled efficient material delivery, scheduling, and quality assurance. Digital reporting captured multiple levels of verification, providing a robust “golden thread” record for compliance.

The completion of this phase demonstrates Neo’s ability to deliver large-scale, compliant fire safety improvements in occupied residential environments while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and resident care.
